Project 2.20 or bust
Over the next 4 months on our Podcast, Strava and Instagram we are going to document coach Shaun's journey to the Frankfurt Marathon. Shaun said- "I've got one more training cycle left before I become a Dad and take the running a bit easier. So I want to make it a special one. I've got a dodgy hamstring and 0% natural talent but I would love to retire with a sub 2.20 under my belt. To help me on this cycle I have thankfully managed to garner the support of some top brains in the world of running- coach and runner Nate Jenkins, top dietitian Renee McGregor, Sports Physiologist Samuele Marcora and psychologist Andy Lane."
We want to help all of our runners gain from this valuable insight. You can even join in - follow the Strength and Conditioning plan at home, and copy some of the workouts in Shaun's plan
Do you use Strava? Sign up and now and follow the journey online. Join the Let's Get Running Strava Team- we'll read out memorable posts on the show.
Every fortnight we will publish a training blog, about 'what we have learnt' from the experts we have met and the sessions we have undergone. To receive this technical summary full of actionable detail subscribe below.
