Come on, let's track this improvement…

We want to help you get fit, and we know addictive it can be when you can track and monitor this improvement. So, every 2 months we will set you a challenge- and all those who can demonstrate an improvement will be in with a chance of winning a new pair of trainers from London based running retailer, The Running Works.

In September and October, we want you to see if you can commit and improve your time for a single mile.....we are calling it the Let's Get Running Mile Challenge! 

Here's how it works.

  1. Join the Let's Get Running Strava Group, and starting logging your runs on the app or using your GPS watch

  2. Run a single mile before the end of September, recording it Strava so we can see the time you ran. Make sure you edit the title of the run on Strava to include  '#workrunclubmilechallenge' so we don't miss the entry.

  3. Attend 4 Work Run Club Sessions (make sure you register with the coach before each session.

  4. Before the end of October, run the same mile, again recording the run on Strava (and including #workrunclubmilechallenge in the title so we can pick it up).

We don't care who is the fastest runner- we car a bout those who get stuck in and improve their time. All those who record a % improvement will be eligible to win an amazing pair of new running shoes, and some other goodies from Proviz and Runderwear.
